Other Lives, Other Stories – Simon Watson’s Book | Molto Collectibles

Other Lives, Other Stories: Interior Portraits brings together more than thirty-five years of Simon Watson’s photography of interiors, architecture and lived-in spaces.

Following The Lives of Others, published in 2020, the book journeys through private residences, artists’ studios and remarkable architecture across Europe, North Africa and India, exploring through Watson’s lens the relationship between space, light, memory and presence.

From Egypt, India, Morocco and Tunisia to Denmark, France, Italy and Spain, the volume includes locations such as Grundtvig’s Church in Denmark, Palermo’s Post Office, Lakshmi Vilas Palace in India and Cairo’s City of the Dead. Watson’s photographs are accompanied by his own reflections on architecture, interiors and the stories behind the places he has photographed.

Foreword by Roberto Peregalli and Laura Sartori Rimini.
