Pair of armchairs by Tony Duquette
They retain the original Gemstone fabric in a malachite green finish. The pattern was originally hand-painted and later printed onto cotton fabric. Tony Duquette considered malachite a talisman and frequently incorporated its distinctive variegated pattern into furniture, textiles, and even flooring.
